God Thoughts

1 Corinthians 2: 11-12 is such a great passage. To know that we have access to God’s thoughts is something incredible. God put His Spirit in us to guide us through life, but also to take us into depths of Christ. God's Spirit is the same as He is. Only our soul's have access to our thoughts. No one else can know what we are thinking. The Father, Spirit and Son are one, therefore, with the Spirit living and dwelling within us, we can know God's thoughts. The key is dividing our thoughts from God's. As different as they are, people tend to see their thoughts as God's thoughts sometimes. In Psalms 94, God states that our thoughts are worthless. Note that He says our THOUGHTS are worthless. Not us. As much as it may hurt, God doesn't need us. He doesn't need our thoughts because we can never compare to His wisdom and knowledge. Instead, He chose us, and gave us the opportunity to know what plans He has for us, and the things He is thinking. How cool would it be if everyone thought GOD thoughts?

Happy Endings

It's funny; sometimes life brings the best out in you and sometimes it brings the worst. Life is a journey and it's not always fun. Sometimes you're weary and tired, sometimes you can't help but smile at all the joys it brings. But if there's one thing I've learned, it's to always choose joy.
Joy is something different than happiness or just smiling. Joy is what's in your heart and the overflow of it into your actions. Joy is not being angry inside and faking a smile on the front; joy is your appreciation and love for God always being visible. It's a "from the inside out" thing that can only be on the outside if it's on the inside. This doesn't mean that you can never get angry or sad, but it means that when you do, you overcome your emotions by the truth of the Spirit in you. The trick to master your emotions before they master you. It's a simple time game that keeps you up to date with yourself. We all let loose every once and a while, that's part of being human. But, never use imperfection as an excuse to go against God's law. It's not impossible to be turn a negative emotion into a happy ending.
